Access 6 Food and Drink Programme

Access 6

Development of a range of food and drink export development training tools including Elearning modules and webinars and a programme of export skills workshops. The Access 6 programme is being led by the Irish Exporters Association, Northern Ireland Food & Drink and Scotland Food & Drink and has been funded by the ERDF under INTERREG IVA to the value of €2.2million for regional development in the border regions of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Western Scotland.

Taste of Britain China Programme

Taste of Britain China Programme

Client: FDEA and UKTI

Project: To create a programme to encourage UK food and drink businesses to develop business in China to raise awareness of British food and drink in this important market.

What we do: This is an on-going project but in 2012 we designed a programme which included detailed market briefings, a trade reception, store visit and the largest ever British presence at Food and Hotel China (FCD 12) in Shanghai when 53 companies were represented in the Great Britain Pavilion and a visit by Secretary of State Owen Paterson. We have also developed a web marketing resource promoting British food and drink biusinesses in China.

Exportese Food and Drink Programme in partnership with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) London

Client: UKTI in London

Project: Working in partnership with UKTI London, we have put together an export introduction and advice programme designed specifically for food and drink companies located in the 33 London boroughs. This European Regional Development Fund project aims to help SME food and drink companies across London take steps towards starting, growing or expanding their international business through free and impartial practical support and market advice delivered by Exportese.

Project: To offer specialist export support to Welsh food and drink producers.

What we do: This is a flexible programme aimed at helping companies based in Wales to develop a realistic and achievable export strategy through a process of one to one business support and research.

A joint venture between Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and an EU funded programme to encourage and facilitate collaboration between Latin America and Europe.

Project: To provide specialist support as part of a collaboration programme between public and private agencies working in the food and drink sector in Mexico and similar organisations in the UK.
